Terms & Conditions for Left Luggage Services

In these Regulations the following terms are used with the following meaning:
LUGGAGE STORAGE: the space used for the luggage storage and custody service, the furnishings and the relative administrative organization of Float & Co. Srl Floating Flo
DEPOSIT CLERK: the natural person who takes care of the material execution of the luggage storage and custody service in the "luggage depot".

The rates for the storage and custody of luggage are determined by Float & Co. Srl Floating Flo and are displayed in a visible manner to the public within the Luggage Storage.

They are accepted in deposit and custody, within the limits of the capacity of the single deposit and against payment of the amount indicated, up to the maximum, in the rates referred to in the previous art. 2: suitcases, baskets, bags and travel bags, as well as parcels and the like.
Any baggage to be deposited must be tightly closed.
In any case, Float & Co. Srl Floating Flo is not liable for money, jewels, precious metals, samples or business documents and objects and other valuables in general contained in individual bags.
Luggage is introduced into the Luggage Storage at the request of the owner and the carrier or their representative, as well as by the physical owner of the luggage itself.
After thirty days from the date of deposit, if space requirements require it, particularly voluminous packaging can be transferred to another warehouse at the owner's expense.
It is forbidden to leave passports or other travel documents while your bags are under the responsibility of Float & Co. Srl Floating Flo. You Have always to carrie all your documents with you.

Will not be accepted on deposit:
a) luggage containing goods or materials that are easily flammable or easily perishable or give off bad smells or which can in any case cause deterioration of the Luggage Storage infrastructure or damage to other luggage stored
b) valuables.
Baggage in poor condition or state of conservation may be refused; an exception can be made, in particular cases, on condition that the depositor declares in writing to relieve Float & Co. Srl Floating Flo of any responsibility in relation to the bad condition and/or deterioration of the contents. In this case, upon receipt, the Baggage Storage employee must draw the depositor's attention to the deficiencies found and appropriately annotate them on the matrix and on the receipt referred to in the following art. 8.
YOU AGREE THAT YOU WILL NOT STORE OR MAKE A BOOKING TO STORE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
Valuable electronics (phones, laptops)
Travel documents (passports)
Explosives, fuel, hazardous or flammable materials
Pesticides, toxic chemicals, pollutants, waste of any kind
Firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs or other controlled substances
Stolen goods, illegal or unlawful substance(s) or other contraband
Perishable food items, spoiled food, living or deceased plants or animals, infested or otherwise contaminated items, damp or mouldy items
Radioactive materials, items which emit fumes or other strong odours
Cash, fine art and securities (e.g. share certificates)
The Host may remove and dispose of any item stored that breaches this Condition without notice to the Customer and without any responsibility to the Customer. The Host may also report to any relevant authority any illegal or suspected illegal activities of the Customer or any hazardous item stored.

The opening hours of the Luggage Storage to the public, without any exception, are as follows:
from Monday to Sunday from 08.00 to 20.00

The material execution of the luggage storage and custody service is taken care of by our employees. The aforesaid staff has the obligation to observe and enforce the rules relating to the exercise of storage and custody of luggage; it is therefore given the right to collect the amounts relating to the deposits, to sign the receipts and to carry out all the operations and deeds envisaged by these Regulations.

Access to the Baggage Deposit is always permitted, in addition to the employees, those in charge of the control and management of the service, to the officials of the PS, Guardia di Finanza and members of the police forces, if the request is motivated by service needs and /or security.

At the time of introducing the baggage into the Deposit, the specific form of the receipt supplied with the Deposit itself must be completed by the employee.
The first part of the form (matrix), numbered progressively, remains in the Baggage Deposit; the second part (receipt), bearing the same progressive number shown on the matrix, is delivered to the depositor; the third part – label – is attached to the checked baggage.
The following must be indicated in indelible pen or pencil on the matrix or receipt:
a) the quantity of packages/bags;
b) the date and time of delivery to the Deposit;
c) the presumed date and time of delivery;
d) the amount collected for the deposit;
e) the surname and first name of the depositor.
The baggage store attendant is not required to check the identity of those requesting the deposit.

The packages deposited are returned to the holder of the receipt, after collection of the amount of the deposit, calculated on the basis of the rates referred to in the previous art. 2.
At the time of delivery, the baggage deposit operator must verify only the correspondence of the receipt shown by the person collecting the baggage and not also the identity of the presenter of the same; however, if the Baggage Storage employee has reasonable doubts that the person presenting the receipt is not the rightful owner of the packages, he must suspend the return and ask the person presenting the receipt for the necessary guarantee proofs. In the absence of these, the packages will remain in storage until the necessary checks are completed.
The Luggage Storage can free itself from the obligation to return the luggage by depositing it, at the depositor's expense, in accordance with art. 1777 of the Civil Code.

After 90 days from the collection date declared at the time of deposit, uncollected packages are considered abandoned and the depositor loses any right to compensation or reimbursement for the same.
The Float & Co. Srl Floating Flo may proceed at its discretion with the sale and/or destruction Failure to collect the deposited luggage Failure to collect the deposited luggage and/or retention of the luggage and its contents.

The Float & Co. Srl Floating Flo is not responsible for damages and natural deterioration of the luggage deposited under its direct custody and not attributable to its fault or to causes connected with storage in the deposit.

By collecting the receipt, the user fully accepts all the conditions established by these Regulations, a copy of which can be requested from our office.
Float & Co. Srl Floating Flo reserves the right to amend these Regulations in light of the experiences and needs that will emerge from the concrete performance of the activity covered by the same.
